and allowed the encroaching smile to play with the corners of his mouth. "Peggy, my dear, even I have to admit that you are one of the best at what you do, but in this case even your considerable talents are still running a distant second to what I have planned for my dear brother."
She hissed the epithet. "Bastard!" Then she clamped her teeth into the soft flesh on the side of his neck just above the collar.
Charlie reacted exactly the way she knew he would. They were kindred souls, bonded in the sense that evil embraces evil. He shoved her away, still smiling and watching the late afternoon shadows fall across her hard smile. For the moment, Peggy fit very nicely into his long-planned scheme.

It had been ten years since the brothers had seen each other; there was much they remembered, but there was just as much that they had forgotten.
They were fraternal twins, a fact that Charlie had not mentioned and a reality Peggy was not aware of until she walked in the room and was stunned by the disturbing similarity between the two men.
